Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Social Care Assistant to join our team at Disability North. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to a client with complex needs, including mobility issues, memory loss, Sick Sinus Syndrome, complex PTSD, and a blood disorder.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany the client to appointments and ensure they take their medication on time.
  • Support the client with childcare needs, including accompanying them to local parks and activities.
  • Assist with domestic tasks, such as laundry and household chores.
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, showering, and hair care.

Requirements:

  • Experience in care and support work, preferably with complex needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
