Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Graduate Audiologist, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our Hearing & Balance Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments for newborns to 18-year-olds, including hearing tests, impedance testing, and OAEs.
- Perform CAPD assessments to identify auditory processing disorders.
- Collaborate with ENT consultants to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Assist Audio-vestibular Physicians in hearing and balance assessments.
- Conduct balance assessments, including VNG, calorics, and rotary chair testing.
- Administer electro-physiological testing, including ABRs, ASSR, c-VEMPs, and o-VEMPs.
- Communicate test results to patients and their families.
Requirements
- MSc or BSc in Audiology.
- Knowledge of paediatric audiology and its complexities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
