We are seeking a passionate Geography Teacher to cover a maternity leave position at a highly regarded secondary school near Royston. This full-time role is ideal for an individual who is eager to inspire and engage students through dynamic and educational Geography lessons.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons that inspire and motivate students.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Geography curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Geography or a related field.
- Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level, preferably in a UK school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
