Job Summary

The Technical Services Area Manager is responsible for leading the technical services team in a designated geographic region. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills to manage a team of service providers and ensure delivery of high-quality technical services to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of service providers to deliver technical services to customers
  • Develop and implement service plans to meet customer needs
  • Collaborate with local business leaders to define customer experience and service budget
  • Ensure compliance with technical requirements and standards
  • Manage part stock levels to minimize service disruptions
  • Coordinate with local business leaders to develop service plans and preventative maintenance programs
  • Link COE to local market needs and trends to ensure appropriate level of support
  • Advise local business leaders on upgrade and project opportunities to improve reliability and reduce future maintenance costs
  • Plan and execute local market equipment field testing
Requirements
  • Associate Degree or vocational training in electrical/mechanical areas preferred
  • Two or more years experience as a Service Technician
  • Passion for customer satisfaction
  • Experience with electro-mechanical and IoT connected equipment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention-to-detail and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of computers, including Windows and Microsoft applications
  • Initiative-taking and goal-oriented
  • Ability to travel, including internationally
Working Conditions

This role requires a flexible schedule, including some evening and weekend work. A significant amount of travel is required, with 50% or higher travel at times. The role also requires lifting of fifty pounds and pushing or pulling of up to 250 pounds.
