About the Role:
Holland and Knight is seeking a highly skilled Practice Assistant to join our team. As a Practice Assistant, you will provide exceptional administrative support to our lawyers and professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to lawyers and professionals, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and colleagues via email, phone, and in-person.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
- Assist with travel arrangements, expense reports, and other administrative tasks.
- Perform various clerical duties, including data entry, photocopying, and scanning.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of firm policies, procedures, and software systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 4-5 years of experience supporting lawyers and professionals with administrative tasks.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
- Experience with document management systems and electronic signature software.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
