Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Diabetes and Endocrine Outpatient Department at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading the management of our multidisciplinary team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of patient care, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality, evidence-based care.
  • Lead and manage the team, providing guidance and support to ensure that all staff are working effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvements and innovations.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
