Job Title: Senior Safety Specialist

Risktec Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Safety Specialist to join our team in Glasgow. As a Senior Safety Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering technical safety projects nationally and internationally.

About the Role

This is a technical safety position that requires a strong focus on risk management and process safety. You will work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues on multiple projects in a supportive, progressive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate hazard identification workshops such as HAZOP, PHA, and HAZID
  • Certify HAZOP Leader training via a recognized body
  • Conduct Bowtie analysis and derive Safety Critical Equipment
  • Develop DSEAR Risk Assessments and Hazardous Area Classifications
  • Manage fire risk and performance standards
  • Conduct SIL, LOPA, and RAM studies
  • Develop Functional Safety and COMAH Safety Reports
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in risk management and process safety. You should have a strong understanding of technical safety principles and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

You will also need to be able to travel to UK and worldwide locations to meet project requirements, so a valid passport and driving license are essential.
