About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Family Clinic initiative, working with children, young people, and families in Oxfordshire. As part of our vibrant and innovative team, you will be working with Clinical Psychologists, Family Therapists, and Psychological Family Practitioners to provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions.

About the Team

Our Clinical Team is a highly regarded therapeutic team placed within Oxfordshire County Council. We value a strong team culture and support each other in working with complex cases. You will be part of a dynamic and creative team that strives towards a trauma-informed, developmental, and systemic approach.

About the Opportunity

This role offers extensive opportunities to develop your clinical skills, working with a varied range of needs and experiences. You will be able to draw upon and develop a wide range of skills in offering innovative interventions to help meet the diverse and often complex needs of this population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Clinical Team input in one of the three localities, working with a Family Therapist and a Psychological Practitioner.
  • Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions that draw on multiple models, including systemic thinking, Video Interaction Guidance, MBT, trauma-informed approaches, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Psychology Doctoral training at Oxford University, supervising trainee placements and contributing to research work.
