About Service Care Solutions Ltd
Pact is a pioneering national charity that cares for men, women and young people in custody, those with criminal convictions in the community and their children, family members and carers. Our Client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Engagement Specialist to provide essential support to prisoners and their families, building strong relationships, and advocating for their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Case Management: Conduct comprehensive assessments of family needs, develop individualized support plans, and monitor progress.
- Family Support: Offer practical and emotional support to families, including crisis intervention, information provision, and signposting to external services. Facilitate effective communication between prisoners and their families through in-person and virtual visits.
- Advocacy: Champion the rights and needs of families, advocating for their involvement in decision-making processes and accessing essential services.
- Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with prison staff, social services, and other agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to family support.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, contribute to data collection, and participate in evaluation activities.
