We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at NHS Borders. As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our anaesthetic services.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have expertise in general anaesthesia and/or intensive care, with a strong commitment to delivering excellent patient outcomes. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide 24-hour consultant and middle-grade anaesthetic cover for our Critical Care facility, Obstetrics, and other emergency work.
Our department has a well-established Day Procedure Unit, Acute and Chronic Pain services, and a strong focus on quality and patient safety. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with a strong emphasis on professional development and growth.
