Special Educational Needs Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs Assistant to join our supportive team at Academics in Basildon, Essex.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to children with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), speech and language difficulties, and sensory impairments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver tailored support to children with SEND, ensuring they can access and engage in their learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized plans.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive environment that fosters the emotional and academic growth of all students.
Requirements
  • Experience: A proven track record of working as an LSA in an SEND or primary school setting.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in child care or SEND support are desirable but not essential if you bring hands-on experience.
