About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Clerk to join our team at Staffline Driving. As a Transport Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transport services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Filing and maintaining accurate records of transport-related documentation
  • Performing general administrative tasks related to transport operations
  • Completing daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication with drivers, warehouse staff, and external partners
  • Supporting the fleet recovery and maintenance plan
  • Ensuring effective and timely reporting of vehicle defects and incidents
  • Monitoring vehicle and trip progress, and replanning deliveries and collections as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with road traffic regulations and health and safety standards
Requirements
  • Previous experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Previous transport experience is preferred but not essential
  • Strong administration skills, including attention to detail, timeliness, and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Self-motivated with a 'can-do' approach
  • Good team player who can work on their own initiative

  • Rotating shift pattern, 4 on 4 off, from 06:00 to 18:00 and 18:00 to 06:00
