Physics Specialist Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physics Specialist to join our team at an Outstanding Secondary School in Hackney. The successful candidate will play a vital role in inspiring and nurturing students' interest in physics through engaging and innovative lessons.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the national curriculum and be able to create dynamic and challenging lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Physics lessons to KS3-5 pupils
  • Work with other Science teachers to develop and implement the Physics curriculum
  • Lead and coach extracurricular Physics activities
  • Support pupils in their academic and personal development

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Physics related Degree
  • QTS or PGCE
