Social Media Manager Role

We're seeking a skilled Social Media Manager to lead our social media efforts in a dynamic, global payments company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating and implementing successful social media strategies, particularly within the FinTech sector.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy based on our global target audiences, integrating with PR and Strategic Marketing to create one Worldpay voice.
  2. Create diverse content formats for social media channels including blog posts, short form videos, and other digital marketing materials.
  3. Oversee social channel strategy, ensuring content is optimised to drive engagement and attract key audiences based on channel prioritization.
  4. Oversee Worldpay's influencer strategy to support brand awareness and perception, alongside commercial objectives.
  5. Manage and maintain the company's presence across various social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand messaging and engagement.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop social content that supports corporate and commercial objectives.
  7. Monitor and analyze content performance using metrics and analytics tools to optimize strategies, improve engagement and report back to internal stakeholders.
  8. Foster community and audience engagement around the brand through strategic content and social media initiatives.
  9. Ensure that all content aligns with the company's brand voice and values while effectively communicating the benefits of the global payments services.
  10. Contribute to the overall marketing strategy by bringing together creativity and analytics to tell the brand's story effectively.
  11. Optimize social media content to increase followers and engagement across various platforms.
  12. Work with operations teams to manage and mitigate reputational risks on social platforms.
Work Environment

You'll be based in our London hub, where our sites are hubs of activity, conversation, and openness.
Requirements
  1. 7+ years work experience in social media or related field
  2. Skilled in current and emerging media content, community engagement, blogs, etc.
  3. Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills
  4. Demonstrable social networking experience and knowledge of social analytics tools
  5. Experience of working on influencer and advocacy campaigns
  6. Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  7. Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
  8. Understanding and experience within FinTech industry, as well as knowledge of Worldpay and competitors
