As a Maths Tutor, you will be part of a dedicated education team, working closely with colleagues to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality maths education to adult learners, using a range of teaching methods and resources.
- Assess and record learner progress, providing feedback and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement maths curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of adult learners.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting learner engagement and motivation.
- Participate in staff training and development opportunities, ensuring you have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality maths education.
- Five GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics.
- A Degree, or professional qualification, which is appropriate to the work.
- Teaching Qualification.
- Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies.
- Excellent team working, communication and interpersonal skills.
