Job Role

We are seeking a Care Assistant/Support Worker to join our team at Weir End and Woodpecker, providing care and support to individuals in a 11-bedded service and a 7-bedded lodge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with their daily lives, encouraging independence and participation in activities.
  • Assist with personal care, including hygiene and mobility.
  • Engage in activities and hobbies with residents, promoting social interaction and community involvement.
  • Manage challenging behaviors and provide emotional support.

Requirements

  • Reliable, friendly, and caring attitude.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of care principles and practices.
