We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Finance Analyst to join our dynamic and ever-growing finance team at EG Group's Head Office.
Key Responsibilities- Business partnering with key stakeholders and senior operations managers to drive commercial insights and decision-making.
- Identifying and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize financial performance.
- Preparing weekly trading reports and dashboards to provide valuable insights to senior management.
- Preparing monthly presentations on trading performance, identifying key trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting data to enhance business efficiency.
- Working closely with the management accounts team to understand monthly performance by brand, site, and location.
- Reviewing profit and loss (P&L) cost items on a regular basis to develop a deep understanding of the cost base and presenting key trends.
- Providing support and logical data to improve and influence decision-making.
- Quarterly forecasting and budget preparation to ensure accurate financial planning.
- Leading and managing budget preparation to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Other analysis or tasks as requested by the CFO, Finance Director, or Financial Controller.
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to discuss numbers with senior members of the finance function.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong commercial finance and business acumen.
- Analytical and adaptable with good attention to detail.
- Multi-site experience within hospitality or retail (desirable).
