Job Title: Lead Data Architect

Job Summary:

Crimson is seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Architect to join our team. As a Lead Data Architect, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing the company's data infrastructure, planning future databases, and implementing solutions to store and manage data for the organization and its users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select and Implement Data Solutions: Select and implement the appropriate tools, software, applications, and systems to support the company's data technology goals.
  • Leadership and Governance: Provide leadership to the Data Architecture & Data Governance team and oversee the mapping of data sources, data movement, interfaces, and analytics to ensure data quality.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with project leads, consultants, and business unit leaders on all projects involving enterprise data and analytics.
  • Technical Recommendations: Provide technical recommendations and work with Data Architects, Business SMEs, and other stakeholders throughout the Solution/Data Architecture and implementation lifecycle.
  • Data Quality and Integrity: Address data-related issues regarding systems integration, compatibility, and multi-platform integration.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and implement key components as needed to create testing criteria, ensuring the fidelity and performance of data architecture.
  • Documentation and Maintenance: Document the project and program data architecture and environment to maintain a current and accurate view of the larger data picture.
  • Data Reuse and Retirement: Identify and develop opportunities for data reuse, migration, or retirement, and platform upgrades.
  • Cloud Data Technologies: Experience using modern cloud data technologies or architectures such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Power BI, Azure Purview.
