Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Analyst to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing incoming customer samples, assisting with maintenance works, and ensuring compliance with Company Systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze incoming customer samples for pre-acceptance criteria in compliance with Company Systems and procedures.
  • Assist the plant with maintenance works and carry out incoming bulk delivery assessments on vehicles.
  • Ensure site personnel, contractors, and visitors comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation and Company Standards.
  • Actively promote environmental awareness to Employees, Contractors, and Visitors.
  • Maintain the High Standards of Site Housekeeping and assist Site Management with the Company's obligations regarding the Site's EPR permit and Trade Effluent Agreement.

Requirements

  • HNC / NVQ within Chemistry or similar.
  • Previous experience gained working within a chemist role.
  • Previous experience of working with Hazardous waste is desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence due to the location.
