We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Opogo. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in partner schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored lessons for students with SEND, working closely with teachers and other professionals.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a safe and respectful space for all students.
  • Prepare and organise learning materials and resources, adapting to the needs of individual students.
  • Monitor and record student progress, reporting to teachers and contributing to the development of effective support plans.
  • Support students during school activities, outings, and events, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and external agencies to support student needs, ensuring a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
Requirements
