Senior Research Operations Manager

This challenging role is part of the Research Support Team at the School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences, King's College London. The post holder will be responsible for providing high-quality financial data and research management to the School.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support research administration throughout the whole life cycle of research grants for the School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences
  • Work closely with academic and professional services staff in the School, Faculty, and Research Management & Innovation Directorate (RMID)
  • Provide high-quality support for the School, with an emphasis on research grant management and reporting

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level or relevant experience within a research-intensive institution
  • Experience in grant costing and award management for research (Pre and Post-Award) using specific software
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong planning and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, including Word Processing, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power Bi

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £38,232 to £42,999 per annum, including London Weighting Allowance
  • A fixed-term contract for 2 years
  • The opportunity to work on site at King's College London, with a minimum of 3 days per week
