We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our KS3 and KS4 students and teachers in Blackpool. The successful candidate will assist with delivering lessons, helping students with their individual learning needs, and creating a positive and engaging classroom environment.


Key Responsibilities



  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and providing one-to-one support to students
  • Help students with their individual learning needs and develop a supportive relationship with them
  • Contribute to creating a positive and engaging classroom environment
  • Liaise with teachers and SENCO to develop and implement support plans for students
  • Monitor and maintain records of student progress
  • Provide general support to the school, including setting up classrooms and supervising children during lunchtimes

Requirements



  • Be comfortable and confident in managing challenging behaviours
  • Have experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) or knowledge of learning difficulties
  • Be creative, proactive, and flexible in their supporting style
  • Have experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
