About the Role

This is a key position within the water network team, reporting to the network performance manager. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering against strategic targets by providing high-quality information for effective management of water resources.

As a Data Analyst - Water Network Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing flow and pressure data to ensure efficient deployment of detection resources. This includes:

  • Ensuring accurate and reliable information
  • Collecting, processing, and analyzing data from operations and asset management
  • Reacting to flow changes to resolve leakage effectively
  • Producing DMA and upstream leakage reports for network operations
  • Maintaining accurate asset data on corporate systems
  • Identifying areas of interest for detection teams
  • Liaising with supply and demand teams for accurate data input
  • Providing insights to improve resource effectiveness
  • Scheduling work for detection teams
  • Reviewing consumption data for accuracy
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need strong technical skills and experience working with water network connectivity, pressure control, and leakage detection methods. A good understanding of the impact of leakage on company vision is essential. You will also possess:

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage workload and work independently
  • Proven record of achieving goals and objectives
  • Experience with Microsoft office applications, including advanced Excel knowledge
  • Netbase user expertise
  • Significant operational experience in the water industry
