About the Role:

Fletcher George Recruitment is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team in the Purley area. As a qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant, you will have a proven track record of working for an accounting firm and delivering exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production of annual accounts for small, limited companies and sole traders
  • Assisting with self-assessment Tax Returns
  • Reviewing Bookkeeping and completing VAT checks
  • Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns
  • Leading others in the firm's cloud accounting, requiring previous experience with cloud-based packages such as Xero or QuickBooks

Requirements:

  • Excellent working knowledge of Xero or other cloud-based packages
  • Sound MS Office/Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience working for a firm of accountants and dealing with company and self-employed accounts
