Job Title: IVA Insolvency PractitionerImperium Financial Recruitment is seeking an experienced IVA Insolvency Practitioner to join a dynamic and expanding IVA business in Manchester. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs), contributing to the growth and success of a forward-thinking insolvency firm.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of IVA cases from initial consultation through to completion, ensuring effective and compliant administration.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' financial situations to determine the suitability and potential success of IVA proposals.
- Prepare, review, and present IVA proposals to creditors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with clients, creditors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and resolution of issues.
- Monitor and review the progress of IVA cases, providing regular updates and taking necessary actions to address any issues.
- Ensure all statutory and compliance requirements are met, adhering to insolvency legislation and internal procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert advice and support throughout the IVA process.
- Contribute to the business development efforts of the firm by identifying opportunities for growth and improving service delivery.
- Stay informed about changes in IVA legislation and best practices to ensure the firm's practices remain current and effective.
- Licensed Insolvency Practitioner (IP) status is essential.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in managing IVA cases.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPI, or JIEB are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of IVA regulations, processes, and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to manage a varied caseload and handle complex insolvency situations effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in insolvency software and MS Office Suite.
- Proactive approach with a focus on client service and business growth.
