Job Title: IVA Insolvency Practitioner

Imperium Financial Recruitment is seeking an experienced IVA Insolvency Practitioner to join a dynamic and expanding IVA business in Manchester. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs), contributing to the growth and success of a forward-thinking insolvency firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of IVA cases from initial consultation through to completion, ensuring effective and compliant administration.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' financial situations to determine the suitability and potential success of IVA proposals.
  • Prepare, review, and present IVA proposals to creditors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, creditors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and resolution of issues.
  • Monitor and review the progress of IVA cases, providing regular updates and taking necessary actions to address any issues.
  • Ensure all statutory and compliance requirements are met, adhering to insolvency legislation and internal procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert advice and support throughout the IVA process.
  • Contribute to the business development efforts of the firm by identifying opportunities for growth and improving service delivery.
  • Stay informed about changes in IVA legislation and best practices to ensure the firm's practices remain current and effective.
Requirements:
  • Licensed Insolvency Practitioner (IP) status is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in managing IVA cases.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPI, or JIEB are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of IVA regulations, processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage a varied caseload and handle complex insolvency situations effectively.
