Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Fire Design Solutions. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of Smoke Ventilation and Fire Alarm Systems projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Liaise with clients, senior management, and other stakeholders to promote good working relationships and ensure project delivery.
  • Manage all technical aspects of projects, including ensuring compliance with specifications, legislation, and health and safety regulations.
  • Inspect and manage installation work to ensure quality and performance.
  • Represent Fire Design Solutions' interests and protect contractual and commercial relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Manage financially related issues, including procurement, invoicing, and debt collection.
  • Follow due process as defined in the Fire Design Solutions quality manual and report project status accurately.
  • Carry out final reviews to ensure compliance with specifications and design constraints.
  • Ensure O&M information and certification are prepared and issued in a timely fashion.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role or a related field.
  • Team player with a self-motivated approach to work.
  • Ability to work with multiple projects and manage time effectively.
  • Organization skills and a valid UK driving license.
