Job Summary:

Zest Recruitment & Consultancy LLP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our team in the Nottingham office. As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of Court of Protection matters, including advocacy and inquest cases, primarily for the NHS. You will also have opportunities to work with independent sector health and social care clients and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of Court of Protection matters, including health and welfare applications and s21A MCA 2005 challenges
  • Conduct advocacy and case management skills in Court of Protection and inquest cases
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including the NHS, independent sector health and social care providers, and local authorities
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations, including the Mental Capacity Act 2005

Requirements:

  • Experience in Court of Protection, including health and welfare applications and s21A MCA 2005 challenges
  • Advocacy and case management skills in Court of Protection or inquest cases
  • Good understanding of the NHS and its operations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
