Transformative Leadership Opportunity in Maternity Services

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic and innovative midwife to lead our established case loading team, Blossom & Bloom, which offers continuity of care to women and their families planning to birth in the community setting.

As a Clinical Leadership Opportunity in Maternity Services, you will be responsible for managing a team of midwives and providing high-quality care to women and their families. You will also be involved in the development of our Continuity of Care plan and will work closely with the Community Matrons and other CoC leads to improve our maternity services.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead a team of midwives in providing high-quality care to women and their families
• Develop and implement our Continuity of Care plan
• Work closely with the Community Matrons and other CoC leads to improve our maternity services
• Manage patient flow and site management

Requirements

• Registered Midwife with 1st level degree or equivalent further education course of study
• Evidence of IT training or practice to demonstrate data recording and interpretation on a relevant hospital system
• At least 3 years' experience in an NHS healthcare setting
• Experience of undertaking audits and research experience
• Proven experience of participating in service improvement and change management
• Proven management and leadership experience
