Healthcare Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Equipment Specialist to join our team at Wales Medicines Strategy Group.
Key Duties- Receive and inspect used medical devices from wards, clinics, theatres, and other departments within the organisation.
- Decontaminate and disinfect soiled medical devices in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform daily routine checks on processing equipment and facilities as detailed in relevant procedures.
- Pack, label, and prepare medical devices and associated documentation for sterilisation following standard procedures.
- IDSc Technical Certificate or NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Decontamination is mandatory.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills are essential for this role.
- Familiarity with basic computer software.
- Knowledge of decontamination services, processes, and procedures.
- Ability to work accurately and methodically.
The estimated annual salary for this position is £23,615.
