About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Repairs Surveyor to join our team at the Guinness Partnership. As a Repairs Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and property inspections, as well as overseeing the delivery of subcontracted repairs to ensure they meet Guinness standards and timeframes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct surveys and property inspections to identify defects and required repairs.
  • Oversee the delivery of subcontracted repairs to ensure they meet Guinness standards and timeframes.
  • Diagnose the cause of complex faults and failures, and recommend remedial action.
  • Work with contractors to ensure high-quality repairs are delivered within budget and on time.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and contractors.
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of building construction standards and legislation.
  • Experience of undertaking assessments in line with the Housing Health & Safety Rating System.
  • Understanding of responsive repairs, voids work, planned and cyclical repairs requirements.
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, housing, and property management systems.
