We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Quality Engineer to join our Leominster team. If you have a proven track record in implementing and managing inspection and certification control plans, supporting project management teams, and actively supporting quality management systems, then we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

• Implementation and management of inspection and certification control plans
• Supporting the project management team with contract reviews
• In process production part approval using visual and dimensional inspection
• Final inspection of completed components or assemblies including signoff
• Manufacturing support to the production areas with reference to quality issues
• Actively supporting the quality management system to ISO 9001:2015 certification
• Accomplishment of shop floor product sample and process audits to recognised schedule
• Maintenance and management reporting of performance

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in supporting our quality department. In addition to your basic pay, you will also be entitled to a range of benefits, including:

• 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays
• 26 days plus bank holidays, increasing with years of service (approx. 3 days allocated to Christmas shutdown)

Requirements

• Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or similar
• ISO Lead Auditor – ISO 9001:2015
• In-depth understanding of technical documentation
• Good interpersonal skills, the ability to work on one's own initiative or as part of a team
• Ability to compose clear and concise reports & documentation
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues in a simple and concise manner
