Client Focus

  • You will ensure robust quality systems are in place, and suitably managed in line with service excellence.
  • You will manage delivery from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
  • You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of the associate director and other senior leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.
  • Working as part of an integrated project team in a matrix organisation, bringing people together to meet client outcomes.
  • Working with portion planning resources to guarantee delivery of works and compliance with IWS schedules.
  • Ensuring plans align and are in compliance to development consent order (DCO) requirements.
  • Liaising with and obtain all necessary licences and permits through the client internal stakeholder management teams.
  • Managing and enforcing health, safety and quality standards for the works and compliance of contractors.
  • Being accountable for oversight of contractual commercial aspects of the scheme.
  • Managing stakeholder engagement and relations to facilitate delivery.
  • Managing internal interfaces (between contracts and systems) and external interfaces (between programme scopes) to ensure a coordinated approach to design and delivery.
  • Coordinating delivery in accordance with the design management process.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable project management success on major civil works/infrastructure projects.
  • Can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
  • Hold degree qualification in engineering or related project management discipline.
  • Digitally savvy.
