Establishing Academic Excellence as the Head of Physics at Wayman Recruitment Group

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our Physics department, driving academic excellence and student success in an outstanding school located in Enfield.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that align with national standards and examination requirements.
  • Lead a team of educators, providing guidance and support to ensure effective teaching and learning.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters students' curiosity and critical thinking skills.
  • Monitor and evaluate student and teacher performance, implementing strategies for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to promote cross-curricular learning and integrate interdisciplinary concepts.
Salary:

An estimated £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Requirements:
  1. Qualified teacher status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Physics or a related field.
  2. Proven experience teaching Physics at the secondary level, with a track record of achieving outstanding results.
  3. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with previous experience in a leadership role within an educational setting.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
