Job Summary

This role requires a skilled professional to supervise and develop staff through various forums, engaging in complex cases, coordinating services, and contributing to team planning and effectiveness.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and develop staff through 1-1 practice development, reflected practice, mentorship, coaching, and providing honest and constructive feedback.
  • Engage in complex cases requiring autonomous decision-making, multi-agency coordination, and legal preparation and planning.
  • Coordinate services and people for young people transitioning into adult services.
  • Contribute to team planning, effectiveness, and responsiveness, supporting the team manager in improving practice and performance.
  • Actively engage in practice development forums, ensuring focused discussions lead to improved social work practice.
  • Oversee the induction and completion of ASYE for newly qualified/newly appointed social workers.
  • Prepare and attend decision-making forums, supporting co-workers with complex/high-risk cases.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date case recording in line with legislation, available for various purposes.

  • A social work qualification or equivalent.
Salary and Benefits
