About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Team Member to join our dynamic team at Home Bargains. As a Store Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including store layouts, product features, and promotions.
  • Contribute to the visual merchandising of the store, ensuring that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive store environment.
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate, ranging from £9.00 to £11.88 per hour, depending on age.
  • 20 hours per week, including 6:00am starts.
  • 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year, including bank and public holiday allowance, rising to 6.6 weeks upon 5 years' service.

Requirements
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Experience of working in a retail environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to achieving sales targets.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of product knowledge and visual merchandising standards.
