We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary school in Ealing.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of teachers to plan and implement work programmes with individuals or groups of pupils with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general support to the inclusion team and class teachers in the support of pupils with special educational needs inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Assist the teachers and inclusion team in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment.
  • Promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn, develop and be successful.
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children within the school.
Requirements

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has experience of working with children with additional needs and is flexible and able to work as part of a team to improve the outcomes for pupils.

The ideal candidate will be able to plan and deliver a range of interventions for pupils to support their academic and emotional wellbeing.

They will also be actively engaged in improving their own skills through seeking constructive feedback.

Location

The school is located in Southall, Ealing, and is easily accessible by train or bus.

There are no staff car parking facilities, but there are some residential street parking options available.
