Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Private Equity Valuations Analyst to join our team at S&P Global. As a key member of our Private Equity Valuations team, you will be responsible for performing valuations on a wide range of illiquid investments across industries and geographies.
Key Responsibilities- Valuation Expertise: Develop and implement valuation models, including DCF, comparable company/bond, and option pricing models, to determine the fair value of private equity investments.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including private equity firms, hedge funds, and institutional investors, to understand their valuation needs and provide expert advice.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team of valuation experts to design and enhance financial models, share knowledge, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay current with market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends to provide informed valuation advice to clients.
- Qualifications: Qualified accountant or CFA charterholder (or in process of obtaining qualification)
- Experience: Multiple years of experience in constructing and reviewing valuation models, including DCF, comparable company/bond, and option pricing models
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to clients and stakeholders
