Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and train direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Manage operational procedures, including incoming and outgoing shipments, stock organization, and warehouse inventory
- Plan daily schedules and resource allocation for completion of job assignments, while maintaining time and motion records
- Conduct morning team briefs to communicate work allocation, diary schedules, health and safety information, and daily topics
- Perform daily checks of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to identify discrepancies and missing stock
- Ensure housekeeping and checklists are updated daily
- Facilitate effective communication between office and warehouse staff
- Investigate accidents and incidents in accordance with company procedures
- Assist with resolving employee concerns and maintain open lines of communication with all levels of the organization
- Conduct staff appraisals twice yearly
- Align with the present Team Leader in all warehouse and office functions
- Previous experience in a similar warehouse management or supervisory role
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Excellent communication skills in English
