Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Energy Trader to lead our Trading Desk in London. As a seasoned energy trader, you will be responsible for building and leading a team, bridging trading and marketing efforts, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee trading activities within the group, identifying and capitalizing on arbitrage opportunities in the energy market.
- Manage trading risks within the portfolio, ensuring compliance with the division's risk policy and sharing accountability for product overages.
- Collaborate with the sales team to educate clients and facilitate order flow, expanding our suite of products to reduce clients' risks.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, including identifying new market opportunities and optimizing trading operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven work experience on an energy trading desk, with a strong understanding of energy markets and trading strategies.
- Fluent English language skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
