Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in a Children's Residential Home. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to vulnerable children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the children and young people in all day-to-day activities and interests
  • Promote the residents' independence and wellbeing
  • Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips away with the children
  • Protect the children and young people from any risks to their health and welfare
  • Provide emotional and practical support to the young people within your home
  • Ensure the safety of young people by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines

Requirements:

  • A desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
  • At least 6 months' experience of working with children or within a similar Care setting
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
