Job Summary
Innovate is seeking a highly skilled Certified Turbine Rotorcraft Engineer to join our team as a B1.3 Licensed Engineer on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for certifying line, non-routine maintenance, and repair of H135/H145 rotorcraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support to Flight Operations, ensuring the safe operation of aircraft.
- Perform maintenance inspections and repairs as directed, adhering to CAA regulations and industry standards.
- Lead a team to ensure the efficient completion of maintenance tasks and the certification of work.
- Complete maintenance on airframe, power plant, and systems, including the replacement of avionic line replaceable units and the conduct of serviceability tests.
- Supervise mechanical fitters and certify their work, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct technical work in workshops and assist with hangar operations, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
Essential Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong understanding of engine and airframe systems, including CAA regulations, particularly Pt 145, Part M, and UK ANOs.
- Familiarity with Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM) and Aircraft Line Maintenance, with a minimum of 3 years in a certifying role.
- CAA Part 66 B1.3 License (Turbine Rotorcraft) and experience in Flight Operations and Line Maintenance.
- Type Rating and experience with H135/H145, as well as knowledge of UK Military Aviation and MFTS.
- Familiarity with SAP and ERP software, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
