About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulder Setter to join our client's team in Trafford Park, Manchester. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the injection moulding process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor production processes to ensure optimum running conditions
  • Perform tool changeovers and resolve machine-related production/quality issues
  • Provide efficient end-of-shift handovers and maintain a clean and tidy workplace
  • Produce high-quality moulded products and monitor quality in accordance with specifications
  • Operate fork trucks and manual equipment to move raw materials and finished products
  • Perform tool trials and help achieve optimum production levels
  • Minimize moulded product scrap and maintain good housekeeping within the factory
  • Follow and understand operating procedures and job sheets for moulded products
  • Report any breaches of the works rules to the Production Manager
Performance Metrics:

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Technician or Setter
  • Fork Lift License
  • Multi-tasking skills
