About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bus Driver to join our team at First Bus. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers on our routes, ensuring a high level of customer service and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a bus safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to passenger queries and concerns
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or concerns to management
  • Operate a bus in a safe and efficient manner, minimizing fuel consumption and reducing emissions
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and staff to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction

Requirements
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Valid PCV licence and current CPC
  • A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • At least 6 months professional driving experience
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends
  • Best in class customer service and interpersonal skills
