About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Acute Paediatric Nursing Service at Glangwili General Hospital in Carmarthen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children and their families, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for children with acute and chronic conditions
  • Work effectively in a team environment to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse part 8 or 15 of the register
  • Current NMC Registration
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Statutory and mandatory training
  • Awareness of Health Board Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Diploma/Degree in Nursing
  • EPLS/APLS/PALS WNB 998 or equivalent
  • Awareness of Clinical Governance
  • Governance Awareness of topical issues in health and social care
