Camp Manager Job Description

At Ultimate Activity Camps, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Camp Manager to lead our holiday childcare programs. As a Camp Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our multi-activity programs, while maintaining the welfare and safety of the children on camp.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and motivate a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and activities.
  • Lead by example, inspiring staff to deliver engaging and fun activities.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to, including health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
  • Lead Camp Induction Day for staff and work with the Early Years Leader to ensure Ofsted requirements are met.
  • Liaise with Head Office and host schools to ensure smooth camp operations.
  • Act as the point of contact for parents and host school representatives.
  • Manage administrative duties, including sign-in and sign-out procedures, staff rotas, and changes to the timetable.
Requirements:
  • Qualified or working towards a qualification in childcare, teaching, or coaching, with significant experience working with children.
  • Natural leadership skills and management experience, ideally in the holiday camp, childcare, teaching, or coaching sectors.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Good working knowledge of camp activities and ability to adapt to situations.
