About the Role


We are seeking a skilled Electronics Design Engineer to join our team in Southampton. As a key member of our Hardware Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge electronic systems using FPGA technology.


Your Key Responsibilities



  • Implement and integrate FPGA IP Blocks, ensuring designs meet relevant standards;
  • Test and debug FPGA code to ensure optimal performance;
  • Develop software, hardware, or FPGA components for a wide range of applications and industries;
  • Collaborate with customers across various sectors to deliver innovative solutions;
  • Participate in the design process from concept to delivery, working closely with colleagues to achieve project goals.

Requirements


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • A bachelor's degree in electronics engineering (2:1 or 1st) from a top university;
  • Practical experience in FPGA design, implementation, and optimisation using VHDL, Verilog, or System Verilog;
  • Knowledge of hardware debugging and verification methodologies;
  • An inquisitive approach to work and learning, with a passion for problem-solving;
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to work primarily in our Southampton office.
