Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in the Operating Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting in all aspects of the operating theatre.

Main Responsibilities
  • Act effectively and professionally as part of the multidisciplinary Operating Department Team
  • Provide safe and efficient patient care
  • Demonstrate continuing professional development in the role of the Theatre Practitioner in the Operating Department
  • Work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team providing assistance and service in all aspects of the Operating Department and work in other areas of the Trust as the service requires

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a sound knowledge and experience of basic theatre skills and theatre processes. A commitment to developing skills and knowledge alongside some understanding of the theatre environment is essential. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse or ODP/ODA with a strong track record of teamwork and communication skills.
