Reliability Maintenance Engineering Team Leader

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is at the forefront of Amazon's commitment to innovation. As a key player, you will ensure that our tools and technologies stay ahead of the curve, adopting the latest advancements and identifying new ways of working. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining high standards and driving upgrades to reach even higher levels.
About the RoleIn this exciting position, you will lead a team to guarantee everyone has the necessary equipment and it's running smoothly. This involves monitoring processes to adhere to regulations and policies, as well as conducting preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
You will observe and suggest improvements to enhance system efficiency and productivity, then implement these changes across the EU network. Additionally, you will monitor processes using tools like Scada to ensure optimal performance, work closely with your line manager to assist with administrative tasks, and develop your experience within this dynamic part of Amazon.
This role is based at one of our operational sites, with shift patterns that may include weekends and nights. As you progress in this exciting field, you will be well-positioned to move into more senior roles.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate safe equipment usage and oversee teams to ensure adherence to correct procedures.
- Track equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks, scheduling additional servicing when required.
- Supervise technicians on shift to support their growth and act as the primary point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
- Solve equipment issues to minimize downtime for operations, allowing them to process packages efficiently.
- Collaborate in finding ways to continually improve systems and standardize processes across the EU network.
- Apprentice-trained with HNC, HND, NVQ level 3.
- Relevant experience in a technical leadership role.
- Relevant experience working in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
- Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments.
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written local language and basic proficiency in English.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
