Role Overview

As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager in day-to-day management and operations, ensuring that the home remains a safe, compliant, and homely environment for the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Home Manager in day-to-day management and operations
  • Maintaining a compliant, safe, and homely environment
  • Providing leadership, guidance, and support to the staff team
  • Contributing to the recruitment, training, and development of staff

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Level 3 in Children's Residential Childcare qualification (or equivalent), have a minimum of two years' experience working in social care, and experience leading and motivating a staff team. You should also have knowledge of legislation and Ofsted requirements.
