School Administrator Position

GSL Education is seeking a highly organized and efficient School Administrator to support the smooth running of schools across Newcastle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the school's front office, providing a welcoming environment for visitors and responding to inquiries from students, parents, and staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and databases, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, documentation, and correspondence for school administration.
- Coordinate school events, meetings, and activities, ensuring all logistical aspects are well managed.
- Provide administrative support to teaching staff, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
- Handle financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and budget tracking.
- Support the implementation of school policies and procedures, ensuring a positive and productive environment.
- Assist with student admissions and enrolment processes, liaising with parents and guardians as needed.
- Maintain communication with external agencies and stakeholders, providing updates and information as required.
- Support safeguarding and child protection measures in line with school policies.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with school management software is advantageous.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
- A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
